Party On!

You know you're at a great party when good conversations, fun activities, booze, and tons of food continue to flow throughout the event. Don threw a party Saturday in Joe and Kaitlyn's honor. All the locals were asked to bring a dish or a pop up tent. The food was literally different every time you went for seconds, since more and more folks kept showing up with dishes. There were four beers on tap and mini bottles of champagne that I could not resist. After living here for the past 5 years I now know most of Don and Joe's friends, so the hugs didn't stop for me. Not to mention the fact that my whole family was there including all my local cousin's and old friends of the family. It was such a wonderful gathering. There were probably around 150 people in and out of there. The only down side was the pool was too cold to get in to, but in a couple weeks in should be perfect. Great party, Don!! Remember me when the next one comes up.

A Beautiful Couple in Love

Kaitlyn and Joe married yesterday and everything was perfect except that mothernature decided to rain all day and night. They had their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Gramercy Mansion. It was a grand old house that was turned into a bed and breakfast. They had a lovely female perform the vows. The words that were expressed during the ceremony were just amazing. It brought tears to my eyes just witnessing. I hope my wedding is just as beautiful. The dresses were all simply divine. All the bridesmaids were asked to wear any red dress and it was cool how they all expressed such individuallity. Seeing so much of all dad's family back together again was so touching. I'm really glad everyone came up for this event. I want to wish Kaitlyn and Joe a beautiful life together in love. I'll make sure to post some photos of this week once the house clears out.

Anticipation of Family

I can't wait to see my family in a week. Like I've mentioned they are coming for Joe (my cousin) and Kaitlyn's wedding. Kerri, the kids, and Allen are staying with us. The house is coming along pretty smoothly. We will have most of it done by the time they get here Wednesday night. I just can't wait to see them all. The boys have gotten so big, both are talking like crazy. I'll probably have a similar entry when they actually get here, but first the anticipation is my positive. I also can't wait to see my mom and dad. I miss them so much, it's going to be wonderful. They finally get to see the life Jason and I have created in Baltimore.
